As per legislation, VAT rates in the hospitality sector vary from 7% – 12.5% depending on activity/service provided. VAT is set by the Government of Saint Lucia and is subject to change without notice.
Our daily rates are subject to 20% VAT, Service Charge/Resort Fees and Tourism Levy. Daily rates include resort services such as beach chairs, beach towels, a variety of non-motorized watersports, complimentary daily guided estate walks and other resort activities such as Chocolate Sensory Tastings and Creole History Class. As per legislation, VAT rates vary from 7% on accommodation, 10% on food and beverage and activities to 12.5% on some spa and wedding services as well as retail items.
