Covid-19 Update

Covid 19

Projected Re-Opening Date: July 1, 2020

Dear friends, past and future guests,

Covid 19 Our lives in Saint Lucia have been disrupted just like everywhere else in the world. With curfews and with local and international travel restrictions in place, hotels and tourism businesses including Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain have temporarily closed and the majority of our 540 team members sent home. Our focus here like elsewhere, is on ensuring everyone's continued safety, helping the vulnerable and appreciating the healthcare workers.

We here stand ready to welcome you whenever our local government and governments internationally deem travel to be safe again. In the meantime we are preparing for that new normal, which will include heightened health and safety measures to keep our guests and team members safe. You may have seen recent announcements from the Government of Saint Lucia that the border will re-open on June 4. As a result of this, hotels in Saint Lucia were presented with a list of detailed protocols which must be implemented prior to being able to apply for a re-opening of the businesses. In order to be able to make all the required adaptations to our facilities and provide our team members with in-depth training of new procedures, we project a re-opening date of July 1, 2020. There are certain entry requirements for visitors imposed by the Government of Saint Lucia. You can find them on link: - Please contact us via if you can any concerns regarding the entry requirements.

We hope that - in the meantime - the images and videos on our social media platforms will provide some inspiration and uplift you from afar. But a virtual travel experience will never be able to replace the thrill of seeing our Pitons close-up, feeling the warm sun on your skin or diving into our balmy Caribbean waters. So, we hope to soon welcome you back in person.

Over the past few weeks, we have been touched by the many guests who have reached out to check on us and our team members. We also received several messages from guests expressing their regret of having to postpone their trip. But most importantly, not only did they not cancel, they also wrote about the importance of having future travel dates to look forward to. The anticipation of beautiful scenery and sunshine at the end of this long tunnel may just be the medicine some of us need to keep going.

We appreciate deeply that some guests asked how they could help. Here is a link we prepared that gives more details on what we are working on. We will update the link as we go on. We also want to thank our consulting Chef Allen Susser who came up with an initiative of his own.

We wish you continued good health, please stay safe and also, let us all stay optimistic and sane.

Best regards
Nick and Karolin Troubetzkoy
Anse Chastanet
