Covid-19 Testing
Information for visitors who will require proof of COVID test for their return journey home:
Here at Anse Chastanet, we can facilitate all testing requirements directly at the resort. We keep track of all travel entry requirements as they are being announced by the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries.
Charges for rapid antigen tests
- Charges per person US$50
Results - Antigen Testing
The results are received the same day, within a few hours after being tested. We coordinate the exact time of the nurse’s visit to the guest's room during guest stay with us. The test is a Panbio Abbott test which is approved by the WHO.
Booking Process for the PCR Testing:
A COVID-19 PCR Test is booked upon guest request, preferably prior to arrival. A 24-hour notice is required for all bookings to ensure nurse’s availability. The tests are scheduled according to the specific re-entry requirements of each country.
Process at the resort
A registered nurse facilitates a COVID-19 PCR test, via nasal swab. The nurse will meet the guests in their room with the appropriate PPE and test equipment.
Charges
The below charges include medical fee, COVID-19 PCR Test and transportation fee.
- Charges for 1 person: US$250.00
- Charges for 2 people: US$450.00
- Charges per additional person (after 2 people): US$200.00
Results
Results are e-mailed to the guests directly by the Laboratory. This information is based on currently available information and costs of tests.
